One UTF-8 or Windows-1252 CSV with a comma or semicolon delimiter, up to 1 MiB, 2,000 data rows, 30 columns and 1,000 characters per cell. A UTF-8 BOM is accepted. Headers must be unique and nonempty, and row widths must be consistent.
Map title, SKU and price; barcode is optional. Each row must represent one new product with one default variant. Export spreadsheets as UTF-8 CSV first; XLS, XLSX and TSV files are not accepted. Saved supplier templates are not supported; duplicate SKUs are errors.
No. If your source CSV contains 00412, that exact SKU is preserved. If it contains 412, Rowmoss cannot determine whether zeros were lost. Check the original supplier data.
Import the downloaded CSV directly rather than opening and resaving it in a spreadsheet. SKU and barcode values with surrounding whitespace must be corrected in the source.
Choose the format explicitly. Dot mode accepts ungrouped integers or dot decimals with one or two decimal places. European mode accepts integers, comma decimals and properly grouped values such as 1.234,56.
Ambiguous values such as 1,234, currency symbols, negative prices and extra decimal places are errors. Prices must already use your store’s currency; there is no currency conversion.
No account is needed to upload, map columns and validate the whole supported file. You see the first 20 transformed rows, the first 20 issues and total counts. A complete CSV requires login and a file credit.
Uploads and previews have separate browser limits. Paid users skip these browser limits; a shared IP limit still applies. Invalid uploads do not use a request.
One credit unlocks one complete, validated file revision. The one-time $9 pack supplies three credits: one file including two reruns, with no subscription or renewal. Unused credits do not expire. Repeat downloads of an unlocked revision cost no extra credit for 72 hours.
Changing the file or conversion settings creates a new revision; unlocking it costs another credit. Only a successfully unlocked revision spends a credit. Validation failures and failed unlocks consume no credits. Buying a pack adds credits; it does not automatically unlock a file.
This version is intended only for new, single-variant draft products. It does not inspect your store or detect existing handles. Review the free preview, confirm the products are new and check Shopify’s import preview before proceeding.
Images, size or color variants, stock updates and store synchronization are outside its scope. No Shopify app installation or store connection is needed.
Your file is uploaded to our server for conversion and stored privately, outside public assets. Anonymous access expires after 24 hours and requires the original browser. After you sign in and save the preview, only your account can access it.
Saved results expire after 72 hours unless unlocked; unlocking provides a final 72-hour download window. Expired content is deleted by the next cleanup run. After expiry, upload and preview the same file again to unlock it for one credit. See the privacy policy for the full disclosure.
The complete export stays locked until every row passes. Correct the source CSV or mappings and preview again. Nothing is silently discarded, duplicate SKUs are not merged and missing values are not invented.
Mapped text starting with spreadsheet formula characters is rejected rather than modified. There is no manual processing or delayed delivery option.
